Kuala Lumpur, 21 December 2004: The K-sharing session involving both the Protasco Bhd and Petronas KM teams was held today when the former visited Petronas KLCC Tower 1.

The Protasco team was met upon arrival by Puan Che Zan Yassin at the Ground Floor of Petronas Tower 1. She then took the team to the conference room at the 36th floor for the K-Sharing session.

En. Salahuddin Saleh, Petronas KIM Section Manager, opened the K-sharing by relating the implementation of their KM journey at Petroleum Management Unit followed by Pn. Che Zan Yassin. Puan Aida Hafitah Mohd Tahir then shared the KM journey at Protasco Berhad to KM Members of both teams.

The practice of knowledge management does not only advocate knowledge acquisition, but also knowledge sharing. The K-champions of Protasco Berhad have shown unyielding support and strong commitment in the KM journey thus far. In turn, Protasco’s management has kindly consented a K-trip to another KM practising organization.

Unfortunately the earlier planned K-trip to Speed Toyz did not materialize since the company is undergoing a management restructuring process. Fortunately, with the help of Dr. Frankie Ow of JT Frank Academy and the consent from the Petronas KM Team, a K-Trip to Petronas was made possible instead.
