As China become the host for the most anticipated sport event of the year, the China Student Association of KLIUC (CAK) took the initiative to be part of the unforgettable event when they celebrates the 2008 Beijing Olympic Game with the KLIUC community commencing in Multipurpose Hall on 8 August 2008. The event kicks of at 6.00 pm with welcoming speech from CAK President, Ms. Sun Hong followed by speech by YBhg. Prof. Dato’ Wira Ir. Dr. Mohammad Noor bin Hj. Salleh, President of KLIUC. The programme continued with students uninamously sang the ‘Reach for the stars’ song continued with the Drum Circle performance where they boost up the spirit with the echo of their big drums. As it is an event to celebrate sports, there were tae-kwan-do demonstration by the students and song performance before everyone enjoyed the live telecast of 2008 Beijing Olympic.
