PROTASCO CONTINUES ITS CSR MISSION

Recently, Protasco Berhad successfully collected a total of RM40,000 in a charitable activity held at Montfort Youth Centre, Melaka. Following that activity, the company has taken another step forward with its CSR mission. This time, having built a good relationship with the Centre, the company has decided to take in two boys under its wing and ‘teach them how to fish’, so to speak. They were offered a job in Kumpulan Ikram.

The boys, Vincent s/o Sebastian, 18 and Nawi b Aznan, 19, were both selected by the Director of Montfort Youth Centre, Brother Steven Tee. Having stayed at the Centre for two years, the boys were happy to have been given the opportunity. The job offer also includes accommodation at the hostel in Ikram Park.

Vincent now works as a Maintenance helper in the Special Functions and General Administrations Office (SFGA) while Nawi, having some computer maintenance qualifications, is now a Computer Technician in Infotree Sdn Bhd. Both SFGA and Infotree are companies under Kumpulan Ikram.

All the best to them both!
