Majority of the students said that they are happy with the award as this will encourage them to put in more effort and focus on their academic pursuit as well as to be a better person. "This award inspires me to work harder and keep improving myself," quipped Intan Adila Bt Badrul Hisham, a final year student of Bachelor of Corporate Communication (Hons), School of Communication and Language Studies.

Looking back to the development of the university since the day it was established back in 1998, KLIUC has offered many forms of incentives and benefits to its students to encourage them to excel in their studies. Aside from granting the Dean's List Award, KLIUC also provides Merit Scholarship for new students and the Tuition Fee Waiver to those who achieve minimum requirements as set by university for their semester results.

For instance, students with a minimum CGPA of 3.500 to 3.750 are entitle for a 30% tuition fee waiver and those who achieve 3.751 and above will get 60% discount for their tuition fees. KLIUC hopes that by providing such encouragement, students will be more motivated to gain knowledge and to attain the highest achievement in their life. It has always been KLIUC's aspiration to produce well-balanced and all-rounded graduates who will continuously contribute to the country in every way they can.
