OTHERS ACQUISITION OF A NEW COMPANY

## fields Subject :: OTHERS ## para Protasco Berhad ("Company") is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, HCM Engineering Sdn. Bhd., had on today acquired 60,000 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each at par, representing 60% of the issued and paid up capital of Makmur Bersih Sdn. Bhd. ("MBSB") for cash (hereinafter referred to as the "Acquisition"). ## para MBSB was incorporated on 7 June 2011. Its present authorised and paid up share capital is RM100,000. ## para The intended principal activity of MBSB is maintenance of health care buildings. ## para The Acquisition would not have any material effect on the Group's earning and net assets for the financial year ending 31 December 2011. ## para None of the Directors and Substantial Shareholders of the Company and persons connected with the Directors and Substantial Shareholders of the Company has any interest, direct or indirect, in the Acquisition. ## para The Acquisition is not subject to the approval of the shareholders of the Company.
