## fields Subject :: OTHERS ## para Protasco Berhad ("Company") wishes to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, HCM Engineering Sdn. Bhd., had today acquired 25,500 ordinary share of RM1.00 each at par for cash, representing 51% of the issued and paid up capital of Empayar Indera Sdn. Bhd. ("EISB") (hereinafter referred to as the "Acquisition"). ## para EISB is a dormant company which was incorporated on 26 July 2011 with an authorised share capital of RM100,000 and paid up share capital of RM50,000. ## para The intended business activities of EISB are principally related to road maintenance. ## para None of the directors, substantial shareholders of the Company and persons connected to them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the Acquisition. ## para The Acquisition is not subject to the approval of the shareholders of the Company.
