Contents :: We refer to the Bursa Malaysia’s query dated 2 September 2009 on the Company’s announcement dated 28 August 2009, in relation to the Winding Up petition on Ikram Skills Academy Sdn. Bhd. (“Petition”), requesting for the following additional information for public release: 1. The Petition is by a member of Ikram Skills Academy Sdn. Bhd. (“ISA”) to wind up ISA and appoint the Official Receiver as liquidator. No amount is claimed as the application is made under Section 218(1)(f) and(i) of the Companies Act, 1965. 2. The cost of investment by a subsidiary, Ikram Latihan Sdn. Bhd. in ISA is RM76,500, being 51% of its paid up capital. 3. The expected losses will be the cost of the investment in ISA of RM76,500. 4. The Company is taking legal advice as to the steps available to be taken in respect of the Petition. In this connection, kindly furnish Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad immediately with the following information for public release: 1. Particulars of the claim under the Petition, including the amount claimed for under the Petition and the interest rate; 2. Cost of investment in ISRA; 3. The expected losses, if any arising from the Petition; and 4. Steps taken and proposed to be taken by Prostasco Berhad in respect of the Petition.
