OTHERS LETTER OF APPOINTMENT FROM THE GOVERNMENT OF MALAYSIA

## fields Subject :: OTHERS ## para Protasco Berhad (“PB”) is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary company, Kumpulan Ikram Sdn. Bhd. (“Ikram”) has received a letter of appointment from the Ministry of Works Malaysia (“Government”) for the appointment of Ikram as a service provider to provide services with regards to the forensic engineering services on slopes and slope related structures for a period of 3 years with an option to renew for a further period of 2 years, at an estimated contract price of RM25 million per annum, subject to actual consumption to be consumed by the Government pursuant to the Master Service Agreement (“Agreement/Appointment”). ## para Under the Agreement, the services to be provided by Ikram, with effect from 1 January 2016 shall cover all slopes failure throughout Malaysia except for Federal roads, roads that are currently under privatised concession agreements (toll roads) and those pending completion by the Government or Government agencies. ## para The Appointment is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings and net assets of PB Group. ## para None of the Directors or major shareholders or persons connected to the Directors or major shareholders has any direct or indirect interest in the abovementioned Appointment.
