On 26th, 28th June 2019, Protasco Trading Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Protasco Berhad took part in International Road Federation’s (IRF) first regional conference in Malaysia titled ‘IRF Regional Conference & Exhibition for Road Safety’ held at The Ritz Carlton Kuala Lumpur. This conference played a unique platform in providing opportunity for stakeholders to address the road safety problems on a regional level and in a forward- looking basis. The highlight of the conference include an address on how countries in the region can adopt the ‘Safe System Approach’ and focussed on major engineering and enforcement measures that can have immediate effect on eliminating needless deaths, linking to the conference theme of ‘the road to zero (deaths)’. Apart from that, the conference also emphasised on sustainable funding solutions for Road Safety.
