On 17 October 2025, the i2 Energy team spent a day with the Standard 4 students of Premfield International School in Kota Damansara, running a hands-on session on solar energy and sustainability.

The session was built around questions rather than a lecture. The students watched a live drone demonstration and then designed their own solar-powered inventions, which ranged from solar spaceships to solar boats.

Premfield has solar panels on its own rooftop, which made the lesson unusually concrete. The students were learning about a system generating clean electricity above their classrooms while they sat in them, so sustainability was not an abstraction to be taken on faith.

The group works with organisations across Malaysia to install clean energy systems. Spending time with the people who will inherit those systems is a straightforward extension of that work.
