Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur (IUKL) is one of 5 (five) universities in Malaysia to co-organise Ministry of Education (MOE)’s Signature Mobility Programme 2018 for high school students from Indonesia. The programme saw 50 students and 5 high school counsellors from Indonesia congregate together for 14 days at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus, Universiti Multimedia Malaysia (MMU) and IUKL. The initiative hopes to strengthen the ties between Indonesia and Malaysia through activities that require each nation’s education ministries and students to get to know each other better during the 14-day programme. MOE also hopes that through the experience, the participants will act as student ambassadors when they return home and share their adventure and subsequently promote Malaysia as an education hub for the region. The closing ceremony for the programme was held at IUKL.
