On 8 September 2023, IUKL proudly participated as one of the organisers for the inaugural Malaysia-China Engineering Digital Transformation Summit at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. This summit was the result of a collaborative effort that included key partners such as HuaZhong Malaysia, The Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM), ASEAN Engineering Register (AER), Tusstar Malaysia, Huaqiao University, and the Malaysian Chapter of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES).
Notable individuals who participated as panelists in the event are President and Vice-Chancellor at IUKL, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Noor Inayah Ya’akub, YBhg. Academician Dato’ Ir. (Dr.) Lee Yee Cheong, who serves as the Pro Chancellor of IUKL, and Ir. Prof. Dr. Norlida Buniyamin, President of IEM.
