On 7 January 2020, IUKL has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Nanjing Institute of Railway Technology (NIRT) and Guangdong Zhuoyue Qiancheng Education Services (BF).
Through this MoA, IUKL, NIRT and BF will jointly develop an academic programme in the field of railway technology. IUKL is looking to provide railway training programmes that would produce world-class rail professionals in Malaysia.
